While reading the Old Testament, I was lost trying to remember who begat whom. I am sure that you have felt much the same way. Using a family tree software program, I began to record the basic information to make my study easier to understand. As I did so, I became more and more captivated and determined to continue until I finished the book you now hold. This work is the genealogical report of God's "chosen family." It is a family not so different from families in today's world. Perhaps through your study of the Old Testament you will be reassured of God's love for you.
