Bulbophyllum Bowkettiae

Bulbophyllum bowkettiae or Striped Snake Orchid, is a species of orchid in the genus Bulbophyllum although some taxonomists have recently reassigned it to the genus Serpenticaulis.It is endemic to Australia and is found in Queensland in the McIlwraith Range, and the Big Tableland to the Tully River. It is usually found at altitudes of 600-1200 metres but extends into coastal lowlands south of Innisfail. It is locally common and grows on rainforest trees, and rocks.
