Black mamba

It is also known for being very aggressive when threatened, and will not hesitate to strike with deadly precision. The black mamba is the longest venomous snake in Africa. It is the second longest, venomous snake in the world only to the King Cobra. The black mamba, as adults, are on average about 2.5 meters in length, but some can grow as large as 4.3 meters. The snake's body color can range from a dark olive, olive green, to a greyish brown color. Some individuals even have a light band that wraps around their body.
