Alle, die ich jemals kannte, wollten eines Tages ein Buch schreiben. Ich habe das nie gesagt, aber mir wurde vielmals nahegelegt es zu tun. Also habe ich schließlich auf sie gehört und eines geschrieben. Wer hätte aber jemals gedacht, dass ich ein Buch über meine Abenteuer auf Deutsch schreiben würde, welches speziell auf meine deutsche Leserschaft in meiner neuen Wahlheimat abzielt?Ich bedanke mich bei Anja Roschke, die die "Niko" Bücher 1-3 geschrieben hat und Petra Kupka, der Authorin von "Ein Kleid aus Rosen" und "Australisches Tagebuch" für ihren Rat und Inspiration.Ganz besonders möchte ich meiner Frau und Übersetzerin Britta (dorbertranslations@yahoo.com) für ihre Geduld und die vielen Stunden danken, die sie mit der Übersetzung meines Buches ins Deutsche verbracht hat.Ich hoffe, dass Sie als Leserschaft dieses Buch genauso genießen, wie ich es genossen habe es zu schreiben.
