The Arms That Are Needed: Daughters Reflect on Fatherly Love

In 2005 she graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of the District of Columbia. Shortly after, she started writing for various local community papers in the Maryland suburbs of Washington D.C. In 2007 she wrote her first book titled Inside a Poet's Pocketbook, a collection of poetry. In 2011 she graduated from Warner Pacific College with a master's in Organizational Leadership and Management. When she is not spending quality time with her son, she is volunteering in her community. Currently she resides in Portland, Oregon.
