Recent reports on over population, the increase of microbiological diseases, also the hypothetical possibility of particle accelerator experimentation that is theorized could disintegrate the Earth's core. The added postulation of the Mayan calendar heralding the demise very shortly our civilization. Outlined are recent academic concerns of how much time is still allotted for the continued existence of life on our planet.. These facts are examined in order for us to find an answer to the question, "Is our time well-nigh upon us?"
