Madeleine L'Engle's Time Quintet, which began with the Newbery Award winner, concludes with An Acceptable Time. A Wrinkle in Time is a story about a time when there was a Polly sees mist and jagged mountains - and a troop of young men holding spears - instead of her grandparents' farm after a flash of lightning and vibrating ground.
