The Adventures of Hugh Barnaby and The Place of Shadows

Hugh Barnaby has no idea that he holds the key to a sorceress' desperate need... After Hugh Barnaby became friends with the gypsies when they came to town with the fair, his life took on a mysterious turn, plunging him and his friends into a terrifying chain of events which landed them captive in a sinister castle. Hugh has no idea that he possesses magic power and a knowledge that a sorceress urgently needs. He learns through one of the paintings hanging on the castle wall, the only way to escape the clutches of the sorceress is by a hidden door. He is then thrown into a battle against her fiendish slaves in a rescue mission that would lead him and his friends through dark creepy dungeons and passageways littered with spooky skeletons, dusty armour, spiders watching from cobwebs, and the sound of eerie echoing voices. Running and stumbling, and constantly looking over their shoulders as the massive bar-guest, a phantom bear-like creature chases them while the trees look on...
