Adventure and Art: The First Hundred Years of Printing, was published by the Rutgers University Libraries to accompany an exhibition of books published during the first century of printing, a transitional time of great innovation and accomplishment. Detailed descriptions of Rutgers' rare books and incunabula, some not held by any other North American library, are presented along with photographs of nearly thirty of the collection's most exquisite pieces.
