What does the average American do after sweating for Old Man America? He gets in the import, grinds the clutch, and makes his way home. Another day ends with booze, cigarettes, music, and literature; books for the soul; stories to maintain the sanity. He dares to dream and fantasize that tomorrow will be better. There are excerpts of another life to show the sorrow and hollowness that complete us all, the pain that brings us together, and the failures that brighten the stains on the blue-collars we must wear to make the mortgage.
