Abhijat Joshi

Abhijat Joshi (born 1969) is an Indian academic and screenwriter particularly known for his work with Vinod Chopra Productions, as the screenwriter for Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006) and 3 Idiots (2009). He is a professor of English at Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio since 2003. Born and brought up at Ahmedabad, Gujarat to family of professors, including his father Jayant Joshi. Abhijat received his early education in Gujarati medium. He obtained his higher education and qualifications from Gujarat University. After doing his M.A. (English) with distinction. He received his M.F.A. from the University of Texas, Austin. Apart from English, he can fluently read, write and speak Gujarati language as he was born and brought up amidst Gujarati speaking people.
