Molecular Evolution

The study of molecular evolution has now permeated the whole of evolutionary biology. This book is intended for graduate students taking courses in molecular evolution/phylogeny reconstruction, although it will also be a useful supplement for students taking wider courses in evolution. The book develops a rigorous, phylogenetically-based approach to molecular evolution that will equip students with the ability to see both the evolutionary relevance of molecular data, and the importance evolutionary theory has for molecular studies.
