Remaking Liberalism

Barry Ferguson considers the thinking of four major Canadian political economists who developed their ideas while building the discipline of political economy at Queen's University. In doing so they reinterpreted Canada's prospects for future economic development and the place of the individual in this new society, defined a new role for professional social science, and shaped a Canadian version of the new liberalism.
