The Great Imitator Diseases

The Great Imitator diseases are medical conditions which are difficult to diagnose and often misdiagnosed because their symptoms are non-specific and common to a number of conditions. This book examines the nature of disease and systemic diseases to provide a basis of knowledge. Once the foundations are laid, attention is turned to ten diseases considered as "great imitators" including: fibromyalgia, lupus, multiple sclerosis and celiac disease.Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added. We believe books such as this represent a new and exciting lexicon in the sharing of human knowledge.
