St. Julien's DreamLines is a whole course on dreams in a single book. She offers readers practical tools for understanding their personal dreams, including: methods for dream self-defense; affirmations to evoke desired dream responses; tips on how to become a "dream detective;" and guides to help sleepers make their own dream discoveries. Her dream index and dream lexicon are especially useful. Whether readers are starting dreamwork or are highly experienced, DreamLineshas something for everyone. St. Julien's chapters on dream symbolism and dream interpretation are outstanding. Her material on becoming lucid or psychic during a dream is likewise fascinating. Only some readers will want to use an herb or a gemstone in dreamwork, but St. Julien's discussion of creating psychic "dreamlines" between sleepers is intriguing.
